Living in ancient Greece

If I was a male at that time (although I am still a male), I would like to live in ancient Greece as free males over 18 years old could vote on how to run thier city-state. Males could also own propety at that time while female could not. (although it is unfair, I don't mind if it happens now as I am a male :p). Even if my family is poor or rich, i got 9999/10000 chance of going to school. Males were also allowed to act in Theatres while women couldn't. (That means if I got retrenched I can be an actor to earn money ( I wonder what will the women do :p)). So therefore I would like to live in ancient Greece.

Who ARE you?!

Please tell me your hobbies, likes, dislikes and what you want to be in the future.

My name is Preston Teng. I have alot of hobbies. What I want to be in the future, I have not thought about it yet. My likes and dislikes, I don't feel like telling you.

NOW, its your turn.

The holidays are OVER!!!

This is one of the things i hate most in my life, GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!!! I actually don't really mind going back to school, but school life would be much easier if there are no exams. Exams are what I fear the most. Before the exams, it would be: NO COMPUTER! BETTER FINISH ALL THE ASSESSMENTS I GIVE YOU BY TONIGHT!!! Why must our school have tests instead of CAs. Having CAs means that i can study 4 times a year. Have tests would be around 15 times per YEAR! I hope that the second semester could end soon.

Michael Jackson, King Of Pop, DEAD!

This news haved shocked the whole world. On June 25, 2009, the "King of Pop" passed away. The world will never again hear his outstanding music or see his brilliant dancing ability. Everyone in the world, including Obama was shocked. So why did he die? Why did this man die at such a young age? Who will care for his children and will they be able to have a normal life, unlike their father?

Michael Jackson had three children. Debbie Rowe married Jackson and gave birth to two children. A third child was born which involved a surrogate mother. The question on the minds of many people is one regarding Jackson's first wife, Debbie Rowe. Will she be granted custody of her two children? Where her parental rights terminated after their birth? If so, she will not have any rights regarding their future. The courts will first look at what is best for the children. If Michael Jackson had a will and named someone to care for the children, the court will definitely take that into consideration. It just may be the three children will be placed into the hands of Michael's mother. Geraldo Rivera has stated that he anticipates she will be given custody of her grandchildren.

Brian Oxman, a spokesman for the Jackson family, disclosed on CNN that the singer had been having difficulty rehearsing for his London performances at L.A.'s Staple Center because of pain from previous injuries. "His use of medications had gotten in the way," Oxman said. On this morning's Today show Oxman revealed that he had warned Jackson's family about his increased dependence on pain killers. The London Sun reported that it had learned from paramedics that Jackson had collapsed after being given an injection of the painkiller Demerol by his personal physician, who was administering CPR to him when they arrived. (Police reportedly want to interview the doctor, who has not been identified.) Results of toxicological tests conducted during today's autopsy are not expected to be made known for several days or perhaps even weeks. However, AEG Live, the Philip Anschutz-owned concert company that was producing Jackson's sold-out London shows, said early today that he had passed an insurance examination by independent doctors only recently. Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Times recently reported that although AEG Live had been able to obtain insurance from Lloyd's of London for his London shows, the rest of his tour dates -- which were expected to gross as much as$500 million -- were not covered.

Night in the museum

The holidays have just passed in a flash. There was nothing to do so my parents brought me to watch night in the musiem 2. The show was hilarous. It all begins when everything in the museum was sent to the biggest museum in the world. They took the tablet along too. And when Ben Stiller (Larry Daly) found this out, he went to that museum and tried to get back the stone tablet. If u want to know how he got it back, watch the movie.

5 more days... ...

It is just 5 more days before the holidays come to an end. I think that everyone must be feeling board just like me. Most people's holiday trip have all been canceled because of the Influenza A H1N1. Everyone is worried that they themselves may get the virus, even I am worried too. I hope that this will come to an end just like the holidays in 5 more days. But I doubt that it will. I think that there is someone in Singapore that has the virus and does not know it. I think Singapore should restrict people from going overseas or coming into Singapore just to be safe.

Everyone, just remember about your hygiene and exercise regularly to keep your body STRONG!

The holidays are coming to an end. I am sure that everyone knows about the increasing cases of Influenza A H1N1. Alot of parents are worried that other pupils who came back from other countries may have caught the virus and pass the virus to their child. So I think that the school should home quarantine those who have records of going overseas during the June holiday to prevent the danger of everyone getting it. Better Safe Then Sorry!

My Favourite Place

My favourite place is my cousin's house. Over there they have computers, PSP, X-Box, and lots of other cool stuff. Every time I go to thier house, I will never get board. If I have nothing to do i can just on the computer and play, on the TV, or look at the ships on the sea (I and all my cousins live in the east). We can even play basket ball or soccer in the house if their father is not around. If he is around we will just sit down and find something to do or walk over to our other cousin's house and play there. Sometimes they will come over to my house and play.
(We rarely play anything else except for electronics and that makes it the most fun)
